Care and Repair South Lanarkshire: Small Repairs Service – Community Consultation Survey

Care and Repair South Lanarkshire: Small Repairs Service – Community Consultation Survey

The Care and Repair service in South Lanarkshire and provides a free and confidential service to those who need information, advice and practical help with carrying out adaptations and repairs to their home. This service is funded by South Lanarkshire Council and NHS Lanarkshire. You are able to use the Care and Repair Service if you or someone who lives with you is: a homeowner or are a tenant of a private landlord, 65 or older, or those living with a long-term health condition or illness.

Care and Repair provides assistance with small odd jobs that people need help with. These jobs are generally too small for a tradesperson to deal with but are necessary to ensure that people live at home comfortably.

Care and Repair would like to start a Small Repairs Service that would address the need for small repairs and they would like to seek your views on this project. The service would provide practical help with odd jobs and small repairs around the home, which you might find difficult if you are older or have a disability.
